11.500 Litre Heating Oil Tank Decommissioning and Removal in Bedford
Oil Tank Decommissioning
If you’re looking to renovate a building, one of the things you might need to consider is decommissioning an old heating oil tank. It’s not an easy task, but luckily, we’ve got the experience and expertise to make it a breeze.
In fact, we recently completed a project where we were asked to remove a large heating oil tank and the outbuilding constructed around it. This included its electrics, safety system, and asbestos roof. We knew it was going to be a challenge, but we were up for it.
The first step was to remove all of the oil from the tank and disconnect it from the heating system. We then decommissioned the tank and cut it down to size. Once that was done, we disposed of the waste and metal in an environmentally-friendly manner.
The best part? We weren’t just hired to remove the tank. Our customer hired us as part of a larger renovation project for the entire building. Our goal was to leave a nice, clean place that would be transformed into a rest area for employees.
We take pride in our work and always adhere to safety protocols when it comes to decommissioning heating oil tanks. It’s a task that requires skill and attention to detail, but we have the experience to get it done right.
